QECC Rules, Regulations, Uniform, etc...

School Rules

We do have a few school rules:-

  • You must get to lessons on time and with the right books, pens etc.
  • You must enter the classroom quietly, sit down and remove coats
  • Mobile phones must be switched off
  • No eating in lessons
  • You must always behave in an appropriate manner.
  • Bad behaviour will mean "time out"

Time out is when you are sent out of a lesson to sit with a teacher to discuss how your behaviour needs to change. You will have a detention to catch up on the class work you have missed and a letter will be sent to your parents.

Bullying

At QE you make lots of new friends and if you have a group of friends you will not get bullied. If you do have problems - tell a teacher. At QE not many children are bullied. There are "stop bullying" posters around the school saying:-

You have the right:-

  1. to be respected

  2. to be able to learn

  3. for your property to be safe
  • Do support someone who is being bullied

  • Do treat other people in a pleasant way

  • Do tell teachers or someone helpful about bullying

  • Do stand up to bullies

  • Don't call people names or hurt them

  • Don't upset people or put them down

  • Don't encourage or start fights

  • Don't damage their belongings
