Welcome to our website...

This website has been and is continuing to be produced by the pupils of Queen Elizabeth Community College Lower School and ICT teachers. Its purpose is to help and advise year 6 pupils in the local primary schools who will be attending QECC in year 7. We hope it will help them find out what it is like in a much bigger comprehensive school and to answer any queries and concerns they may have. It is based on questions asked by pupils at feeder primary schools and the experiences of year 7 pupils when they first started at QECC last September.

The Lower School (Year 7 - 8) is housed in the former secondary modern buildings. Confusingly, the Lower site is much higher than the Upper site, being at the top of Barnfield Hill on the southern edge of town. Lower school is set in 16 acres of the mid Devon countryside and the grounds include playing fields, tennis courts, basket ball, netball and athletic facillities and a swimming pool.
